What if I haven't finished packing by my scheduled moving day?

Moving can be overwhelming, once it becomes clear that you may not be fully packed before the scheduled moved date, please contact  us to see how we can be of further assistance. In addition to the transportation of your items, 3B also offers packing and cleaning services that can greatly improve  efficiency and minimize stress in the face of a quickly approaching moving date.

Should I tip my movers?

Tips are an indicator of satisfaction and much appreciated by our movers for a job well done. Although the amount is up to your discretion, $10-$20 per person is customary.

Can the movers transport my pets?

No. The back of the truck is not temperature controlled and is therefore unsafe for all pets for any period of time. Additionally, although we take measures to secure all items before departure, in the event that a heavy item does shift during transport, it is best for your pet to not be in harm's way. Please make other arrangements for the safe transportation of your pet and all loved ones.

What can I do to ensure that my belongings end up in the correct room during the move?

Choose a simple labeling system and make sure that each box is clearly labeled on more than side.

Why should I hire a professional mover?

With everything to consider for a move, the days and weeks leading up to the event can be mentally and physically stressful. Leave the heavy lifting up to us and enjoy some peace of mind. Rest assured that your items will moved quickly and treated with care. Take advantage of our cleaning and packing services and arrive at your new destination stress-free.

Can I leave clothing my dresser?

Please empty all drawers prior to moving day. Leaving your belongings in the dresser adds excess weight and is hazardous to the mover and dangerous in the truck.

Are there any items you cannot move?

Hazardous items that are explosive, highly flammable or corrosive cannot be transported. Because of the potential danger they pose to the health and safety of our movers, we ask that you do not include them in your shipment. For more information, please refer to the checklist below of items commonly considered non-allowable for the moving industry.
